வால்மீகி X கம்பன்

வால்மீகி ராமாயணம் பற்றித் தெரிந்து கொள்ள வலைப்பக்கங்களைத் தேடினேன். கிடைத்தது ஒரு முகவரி இதனுள் வால்மீகி முனிவர் எழுதிய வடமொழி வடிவத்தின் ஆங்கில ஒலிபெயர்ப்பும் அதன்கீழ் ஆங்கில மொழி பெயர்ப்பும் கிடைக்கிறது. அகல்யை கதை கம்பரால் எவ்வளவு நாகரீகமாக எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது என்பதற்குக் கீழ்க்காணும் வரிகள் சான்று. புதிதாக வால்மீகி ராமாயணம் பற்றி ஒரு வலைப்பதிவு வர இருப்பதாக தேன்கூடு மூலமாக அறிந்தேன்.. அவரின் இடுகைகளுக்கும் இது உதவலாம். அகல்யை சூழல் காரணமாகவும் தானே விரும்பியும் இந்திரனை ஏற்றதாக வால்மீகி எழுதியுள்ளார், ஆனால் கம்பர் நெஞ்சில் தவறு இல்லாதவளாக அகல்யைப் படைத்துள்ளார்.
